Sue Roberts was brought up in the Lake District of England. She attended Cambridge College of Art and worked for a number of years as an illustrator in London. She moved with her family to Australia in 1989 and pursued her lifelong involvement with horses, competing successfully in a number of equestrian disciplines, particularly dressage. Her passion for art was re-kindled when, in 2003 she attended Hornsby TAFE studying painting and printmaking. This led to a three year Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School, Sydney majoring in sculpture, graduating in 2009. She has since held several group exhibitions and has been selected to exhibit at the Mosman Sculpture Prize 2010, Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2010, and Sculpture in the Vineyards 2010 - 2011. Sculpture by the Sea Bondi 2012 and Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2013.
Roberts lives and works in Sydney, Australia.
